This is a stunning quality cherry wood modernist desk, the design attributed to Alan Peters and dating to around 1980. Alan Peters was trained by Edward Barnsley and this can be seen in the quality of craftsmanship using the principles of the Cotswold School and choice timber. The decorative and functional dovetails and exposed joints really are of the highest quality, the design is so pure yet stylish. The handle is very distinct and unique to the designs of Alan Peters. This piece measures 60cm deep, 120cm wide, knee height 60cm and total desk height 72cm.
