This is an iconic C F A Voysey designed double inkwell in brass, made by Jesson and Birkett in 1904. This design was also made the previous year by R Rathbone. These inkwells are scarce. This piece measures 9.75" by 6" by 3.75" in height. It is fully marked to the base and in very good condition. It has a lovely mellow patination and has two glass liners.
