This is a very good and large oil on board abstract by Brian Bradshaw (1923-2016) entitled Oranus dated 1970. This piece was done while living in South Africa and the subject is based on Greek Mythology, an area that Brian was well read in. I particularly like the bold use of colour and texture which combined with the interlocking shapes create a real rhythm to the work. The image itself measures 104cm x 60cm and framed it measures 123cm x 79cm. It is fully signed and in excellent condition. This piece was purchased directly from Brian.
