Arthur Simpson of Kendal Oak Voysey Influenced Pipe Rack, £650

This is a rare Arts and Crafts oak pipe rack made by Arthur Simpson of Kendal in around 1905/1910. The design is very pure and has Voyseyesque hearts to each of the upright panels. It is fully labelled to the base. There is an old symphetic repair to one corner and another to a small nick to a corner of the upright. It measures 15.8cm in length, 14.5cm tall and 14.5cm deep. It is very functional and very decorative.
