This is such an appealing model of female monkey and her baby made from wicker with plaster or composition handle and feet. It still retains its original glass eyes. We do not know the country of origin for this piece of even its age. It could be Japanese and in our opinion it does not date to after the 1950s. The quality of the workmanship is absolutely fantastic. It is in good condition generally, there is one toe missing and the tip of the babies tail is shortened. It measures 29cm tall and 36cm wide.
