This is a very interesting group of abstract charcoal figural studies dating to the 1940's by Arthur Berridge (1902-1957) unsigned. Some of these figural studies became completed stone carvings. This work has the provenance of coming from the family estate. Framed it measures 46.5cm x 56cm, the image 38cm x 48cm.
