C H Brannam Early Pottery Vase, dated 1881, SOLD

This is an incredibly unusual and interesting C H Brannam pottery vase dated 1881. It has fantastic stylised bird and fish decoration all over the piece, each with its own characterful expression. This is a unique piece. It measures 25cm tall and is in very good condition, it has a factory glazed fault to one handle. It has incised marks to the base which read Wm C. Des 1881, C.H Brannam Barum Ware, R.A.S.
