This is a scarce Mortlake Pottery vase by George J Cox having an all over thick ox blood flambe glaze, dated 1912. It is difficult to find pieces of Mortlake Pottery. This is a very simple and pleasing form - very Arts and Crafts. It measures 10cm tall, is fully marked to the base and is in very good condition.
