This is a superb and early Blanche Vulliamy Pottery grotesque model of a stylised cat dating to around 1895. This example would have been sold through her Kensington outlet she had at this time. These early examples were shown in The Studio magazine. This piece measures 20cm tall and is in very good condition, it has the fantastic contrasting and sinister colours. A great piece of British Art Pottery
