This is a stunning Keswick School Of Industrial Arts large jug designed by Harold Stabler dated 1899. It has a fantastic split form whiplash handle, the quality of this piece is clear to see. It is an extremely rare model and illustrated in the studio yearbook. This is the only example ive seen in twenty years. The piece has a good patination and it measures 32cm tall. It is fully marked to the base with the early dotted script.
