This is a most unusual Liberty & Co Tudric pewter and enamel leather fitted games or 'bridge box. I think the clue to the funcationality of this box is in the lid, assuming the depiction of a bridge refers to the card game. This box has two hinges, one for the lid and the other for the fall front. The enamel is very vibrant and in decent condition with just a couple of crazing lines. The box is shape number 406. It measures 22.5cm x 13cm x 5.5cm. A great object
