Doulton Lambeth Faience Aesthetic Movement Fish Charger, SOLD

This is a stunning Doulton Lambeth Pottery charger or large bowl. It dates to the 1870s and has impasto decoration of fish and seaweed very much in the Aesthetic taste. This is a one off piece with real charm and character. It measures 34.5cm in diameter nd is fully marked to the base with artist monograms. It is in very good condition. It has two pinhead surface glaze rubs to the scales of a fish.
