This is a magnificent pair of Holyrood Scottish Art Pottery vases with fissured high and low fired glazes. This is a spectacular experimental glaze and is as interesting a glaze as I’ve seen from Holyrood pottery. This factory had a very short run and didn’t have that big an output. The factory marks are hidden by glaze to the base. This is a known glaze and vase shape, both a well documented. Each vase measures 19cm tall and is in very good condition.
