This is a stunning and early Carter and Co Poole Pottery large handthrown sleeve vase decorated with fine sprigs in an unusual colourway. Pieces from this period are difficult to come by and rare when they survive in good condition. This actual piece is also illustrated in the Richard Dennis/Paul Atterbury Poole Pottery book. It is fully marked to the base and in very good condition. There is just one small rim frit/chip as seen in the images.
