Arts and Crafts Oak Carved Jester Bookends, circa 1910, SOLD

This is a fantastic quality pair of carved oak Jester bookends dating to around 1910. They are both decorative and functional and unsigned. By repute they were carved by a stonemason who was working on York Catherdral around this time. They have a few wood worm holes and nibbles to the corner.
