This is a very good quality Arts and Crafts dark copper casket with squashed heart back plates and beaten ring handles, attributed to Smithies of Lancashire. This is an incredibly well made piece, very much in the Arts and Crafts style. It retains a wonderful and rich patination all over. It is unmarked and in very good condition. The origina fabric interior is in place, but shows its age! It measures 19cm x 12.5cm x 10cm
