This is a fantastic quality large oak coffer made at the Yattendon Guild to a design either by Alfred or Elizabeth Waterhouse c1895/1900. It has fantastic carved stylised floral panels around all sides and to the front. There are two drawers beneath these panels and it has a hinged top. It is a true rarity to find pieces of furniture from the Yattendon Guild. This piece measures 122cm in length, 82cm tall and 52cm deep. This piece has a later carved date and crest with in two oval cartouche.
