This is a superb Doulton Lambeth stoneware vase from the Aesthetic period dated 1886. This is a very large vase with stylised floral decoration and deeply carved panels. The technical quality of this decoration is superb, as is the paintwork and glazes. There are also three applied portrait tablets to the body. Each has a factory firing fault to the tablet. This vase is fully marked to the base and has the artist monogram for Edith Lupton. It is in very good condition and measures 50cm tall. It displays beautifully.
