This is a very stylish and dynamic Art Deco period European hand painted pottery lamp depicting stylised sailors. We cannot attribute this piece to a specific maker or even country of origin, but it is European and from the Art Deco period. It is unmarked. It has been rewired and PATT tested so is ready for use (in the UK). There are two tiny frits to the glaze on the corners that have been touched in - it is otherwise in good condition and displays extremely well.
