This is a fantastic and large Italian mid century modern pottery lamp having all over lava textured glaze and stylised figural decoration. It is an extremely elegant tall bottle form and the figure is picked out in the classic Fantoni colours and glazes. This piece is unmarked but we are attributing it to Fantoni on stylistic and technical grounds. There is blistering to the glaze - this is how it left the factory. It is a real statement piece. It measures 63cm tall (including the fittings) and is in very good condition. It is fully rewired and patt tested so ready for use.
