Bernard Sleigh 'Piers Plowman' Pre-Raphaelite Engraving, dated 1904, SOLD

This is a very attractive Pre-Raphaelite wood engraving by Bernard Sleigh titled Piers Plowman dating to 1904. It was one of five different artists included in the Artist Engraver magazine. It is a really strong image and the wood engraving is technically very sophisticated. The engraving comes with the original sleeve from the Artist Engraver magazine. The image measures 20cm x 37.5cm, as a whole 33.5cm x 42cm. This is quite a scarce piece.
