These are a set of four original 'Antelope' chairs designed by Ernest Race for use at the 1951 Festival of Britain. These rare survivors appear to have been well loved with their many layers of paint, which I think adds to their charm. Several of the bentwood seats potentially have had replaced or missing screws / bolts etc. They are structurally sound but may benefit from a little TLC if you so decide too.
