Brian Bradshaw Brussels Scene, Oil on Canvas circa 1950s, SOLD

This is a very early Brian Bradshaw (1923-2016) oil on canvas depicting a Brussels landscape by night. It must date to around 1952, during his Prix De Rome tour of Europe. It is an unusual piece for him, it is painted on a thin European canvas and has a few small flakes to the blue sky and one small piercing which has been patched. The image measures 54.5cm x 46cm and framed 59.5cm x 51cm. It is signed.
