This is a fantastic handblown Finnish amethyst art glass bowl designed by Timo Sarpaneva and made at the Iittala factory in 1957. It is such a pure object, a great shape and colour. It is fully signed and dated to the base. It is in good condition, save some minor surface scratches to the interior. It measures 22cm in diameter and 16cm tall.
