This is a fantastic 1950s engraving entitled Arc de Triomphe by Brian Bradshaw. Brian Bradshaw was an important figure in Northern England during the mid to late 1950s. He then moved to South Africa in 1960, where he taught and founded the Grahams Town Group of Artists which still exists today. This is a very bold engraving with incredible attention to detail. The background consists of soldiers and knights on horseback but is so fine it just looks like sky! It is fully signed and in very good condition. Framed it measures 54.5cm x 41cm, the image 39.5cm x 27cm.
